From July 2010 to March 2015, she worked at Little Rock, Arkansas where she served as a weekend anchor and reporter. While there she investigated on several stories including nursing home abuse and residents’ rights violations in state nursing homes.

Johnson had previously spent 1 year and 1 month working at KTVE NBC 10 based in Monroe, Louisiana where she served as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and fill-in producer. She also interned at KTVU Channel 2 News where she also interned from September 200 to April 2009. In addition to that, she worked and was also a health intern from June 2008 to August 2008 based in Washington, D.C.
