He has also spent some time working for stations in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Monroe and Shreveport, La, and Pittsburgh, Pa. He kickstarted his journalism career working at a station in Little Rock, Arkansas where he served as a reporter and anchor.
Since he started his career, he has won several awards and honors including three Emmy Awards and an Edward R. Murrow award.
