After completing his undergraduate studies in 2018, he became its alumnus with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Meteorology and a Broadcast Meteorology minor. While at the university, he served OU Nightly as a student meteorologist. Also, he served as President’s Community Scholar and on Kappa Alpha Order Beta Eta Chapter.

Adams serves KWTV-DT as a meteorologist. Also, he can be viewed on weekend mornings and during drastic weather broadcasts. He joined the News 9 team in November 2021. When he was 5, an EF-3 tornado hit a few miles from his house and tracked right through Downtown Fort Worth. As a result of the event, he got absorbed by the weather.
However, he developed a passion for the weather during his journey to becoming an Eagle Scout. Further, the initial merit badge he attained was a weather merit badge. Upon graduating college, he went on to serve in Northeast Kansas. During his stint there, he forecasted drastic weather such as blizzards, record flooding, and tornadoes.
Nonetheless, the peak of these happenings was the Linwood, Kansas EF-4 tornado. Later, he went on to serve in Southwest Florida for two years. Additionally, he provided coverage for record-breaking hurricane season and a very active 2021 season. Yet, the most poignant storms for Southwest Florida that he faced were Eta in 2020 and Elsa in 2021.
On a side note, he is a massive sports fan. And, his favorite sports teams are the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas sports teams (Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars). He also supports the Browns. Furthermore, he loves sports as a hobby and alpine skiing. In addition to that, he is a devoted tennis and golf player, though he confesses his golf skill is inferior. To boot, he loves enjoying the fresh air outside, binge-watching shows on Netflix, and reading on the couch.
