Further, she anchored conveyed live broadcast from Cushing succeeding the 2016 earthquake and traveled across state lines to get the whole story. As a consumer reporter, she has batted for Oklahomans who were afflicted and assisted send a con man to prison as a result of her investigative report. Since joining the station, she has been acknowledged with a number of awards for her work.
For instance, 6 Emmys, Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters awards, an Edward R. Murrow Award, Associated Press honors, and Society of Professional Journalist awards. Her passion lies in the welfare of children. Moreover, she takes the most pride in serving with News 9 and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program.
In addition to that, she attained an Emmy nomination for the moving story of her father’s struggle with hunger. Additionally, she served in Wichita Falls, Texas as a reporter and anchor for KAUZ.
Furthermore, she served WUFT in Gainesville, Florida as an anchor and a reporter. When she is not anchoring or reporting, she is busy pursuing her very active children and hanging out with her husband and their dog. Also, she loves crafts and photography.
