Scholl serves KWTV-DT as a traffic reporter, multimedia journalist, and meteorologist. She joined the News 9 team in December 2021. Additionally, she can be viewed on weekday mornings. When she was 5, Hurricane Isabel made landfall as a Category 2 hurricane in North Carolina and ultimately made its way to Maryland.
As a result, drastic flooding happened in Annapolis because of storm surges. Even though the encounter was terrifying she found it electrifying and developed her dream to pursue a career in meteorology. Upon her graduation, she migrated to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia. During her stint there, she forecasted drastic weather, snow and ice storms, flooding, and microclimate weather such as cold-air damming.
Further, had her go at broadcasting drastic weather when she partook in the nonstop tornado broadcast several times during her one-and-a-half years there. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and her wiener dog. On weekends, she partakes in board games and breweries activities and loves taking walks and hikes.
