Martin is the morning anchor, starting the day at 4 a.m. through 6 a.m. and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Good Day DC. He began his career at Jackson State University where he was a sophomore. He started his TV job at WAPT news where he was running the teleprompter on the weekends. Afterward, before graduating he worked his way up to news photographer, editor, and sports reporter for the weekend shows.
After graduating Wisdom became the news and sports reporter and anchor at KSEE in Fresno, California; WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina (Go Tar Heels!), weekend anchor at CNN in Atlanta; and anchor and reporter at WKRN in Nashville Tennessee. While in Washington, he has covered several big stories including reporting live in Miami on the murder of Washington Redskins football player Sean Taylor and reporting live for several days in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Martin was the first reporter live on the scene of FOX 5’s award-winning coverage of the serial bank robberies in D.C. During his free time, he spends his time with his family. He enjoys cooking, coaching kids’ basketball and baseball in the area, working out, and speaking at different schools.
