Ted Daniel is an American Anchor/Reporter working for Boston 25 News in Dedham, Massachusetts as an Investigative Reporter since September 2019. He joined the station in September 2004 serving the station as a General Assignment Reporter and fill-in News Anchor until September 2019 when he took up his new role.

Prior to joining the Boston 25 News team, he was working for WJAR-TV located in Providence, R.I. There, he served the station as a News Reporter between September 2002 and September 2004. This is in addition to serving the role of News Reporter for WTSP(CBS) in Tampa, Florida. There he worked between September 2000 and September 2002.
Asides from this, he has served as a News Reporter at WVNY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Burlington, Vermont, and WRCB(NBC) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During his time working in Providence, he was among the first reporters on the scene of the Station nightclub fire in West Warwick, R.I. where he covered the tragedy extensively.
Daniel’s assignments in the course of his journalism career have included the 2004 wildfires in California and the 2000 presidential recount in Florida. During his time working at WRCB located in Chattanooga, he provided continuous coverage of the search for Eric Robert Rudolph in the mountains of North Carolina. Asides from this, he was captured and eventually confessed to a pipe bomb attack at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. This is in addition to covering the setting off of bombs at Georgia and Alabama abortion clinics.
In the course of his journalism career, he has been privileged to win several awards from the Associated Press for his Investigative reporting and breaking news coverage. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is a proud hospice volunteer with Asera Care in Wellesley. He was raised in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. As for his education, he attended the University of Rhode Island where he studied between 1992 and 1996. There, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism.
