Elliott serves as the co-anchor of Action 2 News This Morning and Consumer First Alert reporter at WBAY-TV based in Wisconsin. Upon joining WBAY-TV, she started off by serving as a co-anchor of Action 2 News This Morning alongside Kevin Rompa. She kickstarted her journalism career by working at WIXX Radio where she served as a morning co-hosting alongside “Murphy in the Morning.” She later joined WISN in Milwaukee in 2002 where she served as a reporter and anchor.
During her tenure at WISN, she won the Edward R. Murrow Award and the International Peabody Award for reporting on children sleeping through smoke detectors, firefighters, and alerting families. She has won many other awards and honors including an Eric Sevareid award for covering a massive data breach. She won national recognition from the International Association of Fire Fighters in 2008 for her investigation into the death of Green Bay firefighter Arnie Wolff.
Since starting her career, she has won several hats including co-hosted with Regis Philbin on his national TV show for a day. She also covered the Packers to the Super Bowl, interviewed New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan (then Milwaukee Archbishop) for a week in Rome, and the death of Pope John Paul II. She also interviewed Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey, Brett Favre, the late Peter Jennings, and former First Lady Laura Bush.
