Additionally, she has served the station for more than a decade. Nonetheless, her career debuted when she served at WXVT-TV 15 in the early ’90s. While there, she provided news to the people who knew her well in her hometown of Greenville.
Also, she reported, anchored, and hosted a public affairs program. In 1996, she made the move to Columbus to serve the CBS affiliate, WRBL-TV 3 as the Opelika Bureau chief reporter. Further, she and her team attained an Associated Press Award for Best Coverage for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Succeeding her 9 years of reporting and anchoring, she changed her career path and transitioned to the Real Estate industry.
Three years later, she rejoined her initial love, journalism, and served as a freelance reporter at her previous station in Columbus. Soon, she got a full-time job serving as a reporter job at WTVM News Leader 9. Two years later, she was promoted to serve as a weekend anchor. In 2014, the Georgia Marshal Network awarded her an Outstanding Media Award for balanced reporting.
