Harvey worked in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri as the morning reporter covering breaking and current news events. Prior to that Reyna worked at The White House and for the Mayor of Riverside serving as an intern in the communications department. While working at The White House, she worked closely with the broadcast team where she helped craft the message of the President to the American people.
While working in the broadcast department, she met many seasoned reporters who offered mentorship and inspired her to continue pursuing her dream of broadcast journalism. Reyna also worked at KABC in Los Angeles as a news assistant and fell in love with journalism and storytelling. While at KABC, Harvey helped produce content for the hourly newscasts and worked on the assignment desk.
She also worked in production for networks such as PBS, KTLA Channel 5 News in Hollywood, The Arsenio Hall Show, and The Oprah Winfrey Network. Harvey is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being a part of the community.
