During her time at the University, she was involved throughout the communications department serving as the head news anchor for TSU-TV News 98. He is also a writer for the school newspaper and was the first student to executive produce and host the student-run TV program before working professionally.
Aside from this, she took her talents to the Illinois Media School in Chicago where she focused on radio broadcasting and production. She has volunteered as the social media manager for M.E.A.N. Girls Empowerment serving as a Social Media Manager. There, she served between February 2022 and August 2022.
In addition to this, she has interned with The Equity Alliance serving as a Communications Intern. There, she served between January 2020 and May 2020.
