Before returning to NBC4, Mollet worked for KDVR-TV FOX31 in Denver, CO as a news anchor and reporter. There she reported on many important stories like a number of American Idol finales in Los Angeles, CA, the Democratic National Convention of the year 2008, and the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings. Durng her time at KDVR-TV, Mollet was awarded a Colorado Broadcasters Association award – it was for “Best Breaking News Story.”
Mollet has also worked as a reporter for: NBC25 in Hagerstown, Newschannel 8 in Washington, and Cable News 21 in Rockville. At NBC25, she served as a 6 AM to 11 PM anchor – there she was also the creator of “Test it Out Tuesday” (a consumer segment).
