Prior to joining WNEM-TV, she worked at Newsy where she served as a news anchor and writer based in Columbia, Missouri from January 2014 to June 2014. She had previously spent 2 years and 6 months working at KOMU-TV where she served as an anchor, multimedia journalist, and producer. During her tenure at LOMU-TV, she also served as the anchor of the KOMU 8 News at Six on Saturdays as well as an anchor of KOMU 8 News at Six on Fridays.
From January 2012 to May 2014, she worked at the Missouri School of Journalism where she served as an ambassador based in Missouri, Columbia. She had previously spent about 3 months as an intern at NBC Universal, inc based in Burbank, California. While working at NBC Universal, she also assisted in producing stories for the noon and morning newscasts as well as compiling information and sources for upcoming stories.
