Maureen’s journey in journalism began in broadcast radio, with her first job at WFUV radio in New York City. There, she covered the 9-11 terrorist attacks and their aftermath on the city. Having grown up on the city’s West Side, Maureen has deep roots in the community. She is the daughter of Chuck Kyle, the football coach at St. Ignatius. Now, Maureen resides on the city’s west side with her husband and daughter.
