In 2007, he joined Indiana State University where he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2011. While still in college, he was active in several activities and societies including Assistant Sports Director, Sports Director, and Student Station Manager. He also had his own sports talk show called Sports Extra! on WISU 89.7 FM where he was the Assistant Sports Director, then Sports Director, & finally Student Radio Manager.
Ledbetter serves as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter alongside Rick Semmler at WTHI-TV based in Terre Haute, Indiana. In addition to these roles, he also serves as the leading local and regional sports coverage for the Wabash Valley at WTHI-TV, the home for CBS and FOX. Upon joining WTHI-TV in June 2014, he started off by serving as a photographer and Multimedia Journalist till in August 2019.
Prior to working at WTHI-TV, he worked at WTWO/WAWV based in Farmersburg, Indiana where he served as a photographer and Master control operator from June 2012 to June 2014. Previously, from December 2010 to December 2011, he worked at Midwest Communications where he served as a sports broadcasting.
