Prior to working at KGW Media Group based in Portland, Oregon where he served as a news reporter from September 2011 to August 2015. During his tenure at KGW, he was honored with the Tom McCall Award by his colleagues and worked on several national and local stories including the devastating tsunami and earthquake in Japan.
Before working at KGW Media, he worked at KPTV, FOX 12 Oregon where he served as a general assignment reporter from September 2008 to September 2011. Previously, from September September 2006 to September 2008, he worked at KOAA News First 5 where he served as general assignment reporter based in Colorado Springs. Prior to working at KOAA, he worked at KRTV in Montana where he served as a general assignment reporter from January 2005 to September 2006. During his tenure at KRTV, he extensively reported on the military as well as traveling with the U.S. Air Force.
