Prior to joining the ABC7 team, she was working for the WSVN-TV team located in Miami where she was working as a general assignment reporter. There, she happened to be one of the station’s go-to nightside reporters. While there, she was able to cover different breaking news stories in addition to reporting on topics of the day. Among the stories she has covered, there include same-sex marriage arguments before the Supreme Court.
Additionally, was filling in on the station’s newsdesk as an anchor for the team. Previously, she had also launched the weekend morning newscast for WEAR-TV, an ABC affiliate station located in Pensacola, Florida. While there, she also reported on several breaking news stories, the 2010 BP oil spill, and crime for the WEAR-TV team. She had also worked for WVIR-TV located in Charlottesville, Virginia where she was working as a weekend morning reporter/anchor. She kick-started her career in television working at WEIU-TV located in Charleston, Illinois.
The Vice President/Director of the ABC7 team, Jennifer Graves stated that in the short time that Nagy has been with them, she has proven to be a very talented and aggressive reporter who also knows how to get to the heart of the story. In addition, she has a tenacious go-better in the field in order to welcome addition to the station’s reporting staff.
Away from work, she helps raise money for the fight against breast cancer where she participated in “Dancing with Chicago Celebrities.”
