Guyton serves at WTVG Channel 13 as a news reporter of 13abc Action News. She began as an intern at WTVG in the year 2002, and eventually landed a full-time role in December 2004. She is thrilled to work with the 13abc Action News – WTVG team. Guyton has spent much of her life in Toledo with 4 generations of her fam. When she was 5 years old, she made a decision to prursue a career in TV News Reporterand Anchor. She started her TV career at WICU-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania where she spent 8 years as a news anchor. From there, she went to work for WNWO-TV in Toledo, Ohio, first as a morning news anchor and then as a primary news anchor.
Guyton loves volunteering to causes. In the year 2001, Guyton run “It’s Reigning Frogs,” a special project for The City of Toledo. The special was dedicated to raising over $150,000 for local charities. She says that the special was so successful that she truly enjoyed being part of. After that, Guyton went to serve as the director of equine business development at the University of Findlay. There she raised funds and promoted their national championship equestrian shows.
During her leisure time, she likes horseback riding, playing tennis, and skiing. She completed her horse at shows across the region in the years 2005 and 2004, where she competed at the national finals horse shows in Washington DC and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She and her horse ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. in the 2005 and 2004. Guyton serves on the board of directors of 5 local charities such as YMCA Camp Storer and the American Cancer Society.
