Consillio reported live from the scene of the Kilauea volcano eruption, witnessing firsthand the mass destruction on Hawaii Island in 2018. Also, she has been published in the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune.

She was a member of the White House Press Corps reporting on President Barack Obama in Hawaii — including his historic first meeting in 2016 with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Lately, in the Hawaiian islands, she has chronicled the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
