Kent Spencer is an American Director/Anchor/Reporter working for WHAS11 in Louisville, Kentucky, in the United States as a Sports Director at 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. He joined the station in October 2011. He previously worked as the Sports Director and General Assignment reporter at WTVQ in Lexington as the Sports Director.

Kent began his start in the news business in Fort Smith, Arkansas. While there he developed a true appreciation of his home state which is why he has a passion for Cards, Cats, and Hoosiers. Spencer played football for the Eagles while at Morehead State University. During his free time, he enjoys bike world travel, riding, surfing, mountain climbing, and exploring new restaurants in Louisville. He also loves spending time with his wife and his daughter and his dog Lexi.
