In 2013, Kennedy joined Central Catholic High School where she attained her High School Diploma in 2017. She later joined Butler University where she attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Media and Sports and a minor in Reaction. While still in college, she interned at BCSN in Toledo, Ohio from November 2016 to February 2017.
She later started interning at the Humane Society of Indianapolis, Drew and Mike Show, Nine13sports, and Circle City Athletics. In April 2019, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued her with the Concussion in Sports. She is also a licensed student researcher since January 2020.

Prior to working at WWTV, she worked at MTN Sports based in Helena, Montana where she served as a sports multimedia journalist. During her tenure there, she wrote, produced, edited, and multiple sports stories every week previously, from December 2020 to December 2021 where she served as a morning show host and digital content creator.
While still working at Woodward Sports Network, she hosted and produced the morning sports broadcast for two hours every day. She previously worked at Brownsburg High School where she served as a sports information director from August 2020 to October 2020. Previously, from May 2020 to September 2020, she worked at Butler University where she served as a marketing content writer based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
