Raml works for ABC15 News where she serves the station as an Anchor for ABC15 News at 5, 6, and 10 PM. She kick-started her career at KNDU-TV in Kennewick, Washington. Raml was serving as a general assignment reporter before moving to morning anchor. For about two years, she anchored the top-rated Northwest Today.
She was hired by the ABC15 News team as a reporter in the year 2001. During the summer of 2002, she was promoted to weekend anchor. By the fall of 2002, she was promoted to her position as the main anchor. Her true passion is reporting. She states that she is honored to be the source of balanced news and information important to people’s life.
During her first year, she was at ABC15, she received a Rocky Mountain Emmy for her series on border issues. Her extensive understanding of Arizona wildfires also earned her another Emmy for her coverage of fires in Cave Creek. Asides from this, she earned an Emmy for anchoring ABC15. Through the years, she has been nominated for several more Emmy Awards.
The year 2005 saw the Associated Press name her Anchor of the Year. In the same year, she was inducted into the Walter Cronkite Hall of Fame at Arizona State University. This was while recognizing her outstanding achievements in broadcasting.
Asides from her accomplishments, she states that her most important and fulfilling role is being a mom to her children. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling and is an obsessed digital photographer.
Asides from this, she ran a marathon for charity and became an avid online social networker. She also keeps up with her real estate license. Raml also volunteers with several Valley Charities and states that she feels it is her responsibility to give back to the city she was raised.
