With close to 20 years of experience, he has covered everything from presidential campaigns and natural disasters to sit-down interviews with some of the most influential figures in politics and entertainment.
The year 2018 saw him serve as ABC15’s lead reporter on the high-profile U.S. Senate race in Arizona. Asides from this, he has helped lead the station’s extensive coverage of the Hacienda Healthcare controversy which made international headlines. Asides from this, his reporting on Hacienda Healthcare was featured on BBC Radio in the UK.
During President Trump’s rule, he was a lead reporter on the President’s frequent trips to Arizona and the contentious 2020 election. This put Arizona front and center. He was also a frequent guest on BBC Radio and the Times of London, reporting what was happening in the United States.
Prior to making a move to Arizona, he was serving as an Anchor and Reporter for the CBS affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska. He also launched his on-air career working as an anchor/reporter in Rapid CIty, South Dakota. His stories also took him across the state and even landed him on the top of Mount Rushmore to report on the monument’s first extensive cleaning and assessment.
Asides from this, he has received an Emmy Award for his story exposing the extremely high suicide rates among children and youth on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
