Prior to Columbus, she served in Louisville, Kentucky as a sports reporter and anchor for more than five years. During her stint there, she provided coverage for two Triple Crown winners, Heisman trophy winner Lamar Jackson, and two of the premier college basketball programs with the Louisville Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats.
Moreover, she served in Midland/Odessa, Texas for KOSA-TV as a sports director. Upon joining the station, she initially served as a sports reporter and anchor. For three years, she served as a part of the real Friday Night Lights. In 2013, the station accorded her a segment dubbed “Girl Power” that spotlighted the achievements and challenges of local female athletes.
Her passion lies in storytelling and aims to sway sports fans and non-sports fans alike with the wins, triumphs, losses, and struggles of local athletes as a sports reporter. Additionally, she has served as a competitive gymnast for over 10 years. In 2004, she attained a full Division I scholarship to North Carolina State University prior to an injury that forced her retirement.
