He worked for the WVGA team for about three years prior to moving to an NBC affiliate station, WMGT located in Macon, Georgia. The year 1990 saw him get a job with a CBS Affiliate station, WCTV located in Tallahassee, Florida.
While working at WCTV, he was the Bureau Chief located in Valdosta. Working here, where he graduated from high school education and college, gave him an opportunity to report the news. Later on, before moving from this station, he had been promoted to a weekend anchor.
The year 1996 later saw him move to West Palm Beach in Florida. There, he was working as a general assignment reporter. To date, he looks back on South Florida with great fondness as it here that he met his wife. Later on, in December of 1999, his wife got a job here in Houston and they, therefore, moved to Texas. It was a month later that he was fortunate enough to get a position at KTRK where he is working as a morning reporter.
During Jeff’s tenure at KTRK, he has covered hurricanes, Operation Iraqi Freedom from Kuwait and Iraq, and Texas troops guarding the prisoners at Guantanamo, Cuba. He looks forward to many more exciting stories and happy years in Houston.
While working with the KTRK team, he has been able to cover Operation Iraqi Freedom from Iraq and Kuwait, Texas troops guarding the prisoners at Guantanamo in Cuba, and hurricanes.
