Jacqueline Matter is an American Anchor/Reporter working for FOX 5 in Washington D.C., in the United States as an anchor for the weekend evenings at 6, 7, 10, and 11 p.m. She joined the station in July 2021.

Matter is an anchor for weekend evenings at 6, 7, 10, and 11 p.m. on FOX 5 and also the reporter for the weekday evening shows. Previously before joining FOX 5 she worked at ABC7 News in Tampa, FL where she served as a weekday evening anchor. Jacqueline worked at her previous station taking on many roles including being a host of a political and investigative talk show and a morning anchor.
Before coming to Tampa, Jacqueline worked at WNCT in eastern North Carolina as a morning news anchor and also served in Jacksonville, NC. as the bureau chief reporter. In her work Matter has covered numerous major events including the 2020 election, almost a dozen hurricanes, the Surfside building collapse, and the Parkland shooting. While in college she interned at all four local news stations in Raleigh, North Carolina. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering, attempting to cook and not burn the house down, exploring DC, working out at the gym, dining at local restaurants and craft breweries, and walking her 11-year-old rescued terrier mix Marleigh and her new puppy Hops.
