Jackie was the first to break the story of thousands of spontaneous fires in Kia and Hyundai vehicles. She dug into what was causing these fires — an investigation that gained national attention and led automakers to recall over 1 million vehicles. Before moving to Tampa, she worked as a bureau chief reporter and anchor for WKMG News 6 in Orlando, Florida. She has been honored with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award and four Regional Emmys. Callaway began her broadcast career at the University of Central Florida. She has also worked in Gainesville.
