In 2007, he joined The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he attained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Political Science in 2010. Luecke serves as the evening news anchor at WXOW News 19 based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In this role, he is in charge of presenting news and feature segments on the 6 pm and 10 pm Reports.
He also reports breaking news events on location, manages content, and assists in hiring a production team. Prior to this role, he served as a morning news anchor from November 2013 to October 2020. He previously served WXOW-TV as an account executive and weekend sports anchor and reporter. Upon joining WXOW-TV, he started off by serving as a multimedia journalist from June 2010 to August 2013.
Prior to working at WXOW-TV, he worked at WQOW-News 18 where he served as a sports videographer and morning audio operator from October 2009 to June 2010. He is also an active volunteer in his community and has been volunteering at La Crosse Community Thater since September 2013. He is also volunteering as a Rotarian at La Crosse Rotary After Hours.
