He previously worked as a news reporter and board of directors at West Hartford Community TV Inc. based in West Hartford, Connecticut. Horwitz serves as a morning news anchor at WGGB-TV based in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Prior to working at WGGB-TV, he worked at WVII/WFVX Bangor where he served as a reporter and morning news anchor based in Bangor, Maine. Upon joining WVII/WFVX in May 2020, he served the station as a weekend anchor and reporter. During his tenure there, he pitched story ideas, wrote and edited scripts, as well as uploaded stories to the station website, and pushed on social media.
