She appears on Saturday & Sunday evenings, at 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., and Sunday’s “Good Morning Kentuckiana” at 6 a.m. While at the University of Louisville, she served as the founder and President of the American Meteorological Society UofL student chapter and volunteered at the National Weather Service Louisville office. She even interned with WHAS11 in 2016.
Christina started her professional career in 2017 on the Gulf Coast in Mobile, Alabama. Afterward, she headed west to Colorado Springs and worked there until she came back to WHAS11. During her career, she has covered everything from extreme wind events and wildfires to hurricanes and tornadoes. She loves thunderstorms and has never met a cheeseburger she didn’t like.
