She came to FOX 5 from Philadelphia suburbs where she worked at FOX 29 Philadelphia, WTXF as a weekend meteorologist and co-host with morning traffic fill-in. What piqued her interest in weather was the Blizzard of ’96 that brought 30 inches of snow to the Philadelphia.
While still studying at Penn State, she began her broadcasting to the weather at Accuweather in State College, Pennsylvania. Afterward, she headed to WOWT in Omaha, Nebraska, where she experienced everything from 110 mph straight-line winds to -30 degree wind chills. During her free time you’ll find her learning everything there is to know about D.C., Virginia, and Maryland including the roads and the sports teams. She loves running, hiking, and traveling.
