Bree Guy is an American Meteorologist /Reporter/Anchor working for KTNV/13 Action News in Las Vegas, Nevada as a Traffic Anchor/Reporter/Weather Forecaster. She joined the station in January 2021.

Bree Guy Education
Originally from Pittsburgh, she went to Pittsburgh’s Creative and Performing Arts High School where she was majoring in theatre. Asides from this, she went on to join Penn State University where she graduated with a Degree in Meteorology and a minor in theatre in 2018.
Bree Guy Career
Guy works with KTNV/13 Action News where she works with the station’s 13 First Alert Weather Team. Prior to joining the KTNV team, she was working for WJAC-TV in Johnston, PA. There, she was working as a Weekend Meteorologist/Reporter.
While working with WJAC, she got to experience it all by forecasting big winter storms, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flash floods, and harsh temperatures. When she was working there, she had a weather segment titled “Bree Gut Tells You Why.” In the program, she was explaining scientific phenomena happening in the area.
While in school, she interned with the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh and at CBS New York as a weather intern. She has done research with the Center for Advanced Undergraduate Studies and Experience (CAUSE) on the impacts of climate change on glacial ecosystems in Peru and Alaska.
Her interest in weather began when she was in 7th grade after watching a video about tornadoes. During her time in school, she was interning with the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh. She has also interned with CBS New York where she was serving as a weather intern.
Asides from this, she has done research with the Center for Advanced Undergraduate Studies and Experience(CAUSE) on the impacts of climate change on glacial ecosystems in Peru and Alaska. Away from work, she enjoys biking, spending time with her puppy Nittany, watching movies and her favorite TV shows, and reading.
