Walsh serves as an anchor and reporter at WDJT CBS 58 in Milwaukee, where he co-anchors the noon and 4 p.m. newscast, alongside Amanda Porterfield. He succeeded veteran anchor Mike Strehlow and continues to lead two hours of live television daily, working closely with producers and directors. In addition to his on-air role, Walsh has co-anchored nightly newscasts at 5 and 10 p.m., anchored a 9 p.m. newscast for sister station WMLW, and helped launch the station’s 4 p.m. newscast in 2015.

Prior to joining CBS 58 in April 2013, Walsh served as an anchor and reporter at WNEM/WSMH (November 2007 to April 2013). Before that, he had a memorable time in Green Bay, Wisconsin, delivering breaking news for WFRV-TV CBS 5 as a reporter. While at WFRV, he contributed to reporting on the Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey cases, and his work is featured in Episodes 4 and 9 of Netflix’s Making a Murderer documentary.
