Bradley is a co-anchors at WGN Evening News from 4-5 pm with Lourdes Duarte. He is an Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter. Previously before joining WGN-TV, Ben worked as a reporter and weekend morning anchor at WLS-TV, ABC7 in Chicago for 14 years. He has traveled the globe on various stories including trips to China, Brazil, the Caribbean, and nearly a dozen states while reporting for WLS.
Ben began his career at KOMU-TV in Columbia, MO in 1994 where he served the station as a weather anchor and reporter. Afterward, he traveled to WCBD-TV in Charleston, SC where he worked as a news reporter and weekday morning weather anchor. From 1998 to 2002, Bradley worked at Tribune-owned CLTV as a weekend anchor and reporter.
Bradley’s work has been recognized with five Emmy Awards for breaking news coverage as well as two Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards for investigative reporting and a documentary on the legacy of former Mayor Richard M. Daley. He is a member of the Investigative Reporters & Editors Association and past president of the Chicago Headline Club, which, at the time, was the nation’s largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
