He traveled to Chile to work on his master’s in International Studies. He is the go-to journalist for all things Latin America. Antony has covered a range of topics from societal issues, natural disasters, politics, and economics. The Mayor of Cuernavaca, Mexico, Jorge Morales Barud, took the time to talk to Anthony about the impact the drug cartel has had on his people. His first job in broadcast journalism was in western Massachusetts at WWLP-TV 22, the NBC affiliate. He got that job while on a study abroad program in Santiago, Chile. He remembers Skyping with his first news director while battling the shoddy Wi-Fi connection.
Hill has a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures firsthand. He has been to 13 countries. Which all started when he traveled as a military brat with his mom. As a child, he was naturally curious, reading everything he could get his hands on and asking a lot of questions. Perhaps that is what lead to his interest in politics and history.
