When growing up, he always wanted to serve as a TV meteorologist following his watching legends on The Weather Channel. Further, his soft spot for the weather was amplified by the drastic weather happenings he lived through during a 4-year time in Florida at a young age. While in school, he was dubbed the school weather geek. Additionally, he would forecast the weather when the school would have a late start in the morning.
Also, he predicted if students should start getting excited for a likely snow day. Further, he served in Salt Lake City at KUTV2 News as an intern when he was in his senior year in college. Upon his graduation, he was employed to serve as a weather producer. Since joining ABC 4 in 2011, he has been raised many times within the weather department. Moreover, he went from a part-time fill-in to serving as a full-time meteorologist.
