After completing her undergraduate studies in 2006, she became its Magna Cum Laude alumnus with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts in Radio/Television: Broadcast Journalism.

Goudeau serves KVUE as a midday anchor and political reporter at KVUE News. She joined the KVUE News team in January 2012. Additionally, she has served the station for more than a decade. On a side note, her history teacher told her that she would serve as a news reporter during the last day of her senior year in high school. Also, she serves as an Emmy-awarded journalist.
In 2015, her work on the fatal South by Southwest crash was praised by the Texas Associated Press. The Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce dubbed her an Emerging Business Leader in 2015. It’s in Austin that her love of journalism developed. However, her breakthrough came when she served in Houston, Texas at KIAH as an assignment editor.
Further, she went on to serve in Central Texas at KCEN HD News as a reporter. During her time there, she provided coverage for stories in Waco, Temple, and Killeen. To boot, she broadcasted a variety of stories such as breaking news, eminent murder cases, and Baylor sports. In 2009, she served as one of the initial reporters to react to the November 5, 2009 massacre on Fort Hood.
Not only did she provide nonstop live broadcasts for KCEN, but also for MSNBC. The Lone Star Emmy Chapter awarded her an Emmy in 2011 for a story she wrote and produced on people who hack into video baby monitor systems. When she is not working, she loves cooking and spending time with her family. Also, she enjoys doing community service with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
