Boyer is an Emmy Award-winning, a bilingual news reporter for KDFW/ Fox 4. Alex says his friends thought he would be the guy who ended up on a daytime soap. He has always had the gift of gab and modeled a bit when he was a teen. But ever since he was a little boy he has had a passion for the news. In the morning – instead of watching cartoons he would ask his mother to put on Today In Florida (the newscast that airs on the FOX station in Miami).
Growing up Alex excelled at debate, languages, and writing so it wasn’t a difficult decision to study broadcast journalism (and law) in college. He is blessed to come from a diverse background. He is fluent in Spanish but his French is rusty.
Before coming to Dallas he lived in Austin for several years and getting the call to join FOX4 was a dream come true. During his free time, he loves trying new coffee shops and restaurants, exercising, seeing a movie, or exploring Dallas with his husband and their three dogs.
