Przybyl is a weekday morning anchor for Fox 4 News from 6 to 10 am. During her journalism career, she has had the good fortune to have traveled the world and she can honestly admit that there is no place like Texas. Prior to coming back to Dallas Lauren spent her time in Boston for 5 years. She was lucky enough to get there right before the Red Sox reversed the curse in 2004 by winning the World Series.
Later after a few months, Lauren found herself right in the middle of a nor’easter surrounded by snow. It was a long way from home. She has anchored for television stations in Abilene and Albuquerque and has made several appearances on the Today Show, MSNBC, CNN, The Weather Channel and even Live with Kelly and Ryan!
One of Przybyl’s very first live shots as a rookie reporter was in a snake pit surrounded by more than a hundred rattlesnakes. Her station didn’t tell her where she was going, they just told her to follow the photographer. When she got there she found out it was a Rattlesnake Roundup in Sweetwater, TX.
During her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She also loves animals and thought for a moment that she wanted to be a marine biologist, but a professor introduced her to the news business and she was hooked.
