Wes Wyatt is an American meteorologist working for WBRC/FOX in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the station in June 2010. Previously he worked at WVUA-TV in Tuscaloosa as a Chief Meteorologist.

Wyatt enjoys sharing his passion for weather with his viewers. Throughout his career, he has visited and spoken to various organizations and schools across the state. Furthermore, he has mentored many successful meteorologists. While growing up, he witnessed the Blizzard of 1993 which is the reason he’s a meteorologist today.

He holds the Seal of Approval by the National Weather Association as well as the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal by the American Meteorological Society. In addition, he participates in evaluating meteorologists throughout the nation as a member of the National Weather Association Seal Committee.

The Associated Press named him the best weather anchor in 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, and 2015. The State of Alabama honored him for his severe weather coverage in West Alabama.

During his leisure time, he likes playing the guitar. In addition, he enjoys football Saturdays, gardening, and the great outdoors in the fall. Wyatt says that his love for music comes from his mother who was a talented musician and singer.
