Asides from this, she heads up the popular Contact 13 Consumer Unit. The contact 13 Call for Action team happens to be the largest consumer unit in Southern Nevada. The volunteers recover over $1 million annually for viewers who contact them through the hotline to solve problems.
During the weekday evenings, Kean can be seen anchoring on Channel 13 Action News. Asides from the News, she brings the latest consumer headlines in her Contact 13 segments. Asides from this, she warns the viewers about scams, product recalls, and frauds, and provides bottom-line information that will save you money.

She is a proud graduate of Arizona State University. Prior to joining the Las Vegas team, she was working in Los Angeles where she was serving as a General Assignment Reporter. There, she was working with KCAL-TV. Asides from this, she has anchored overnight national news for CBS News’s “Up to the Minute.”
This is in addition to working with WXIA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia where she was serving as an anchor/reporter. Asides from this, she has worked for WMAZ-TV in Macon, Georgia, KRTV in Great Falls, Montana, and WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
She is also known for landing exclusive interviews with some of the most influential people in the world and in Southern Nevada and Las Vegas. These include Steve and Elaine Wynn of Wynn Resorts, Tom Breitling, Founder of Travelscape, and Former owner of the Legendary Golden Nugget. She has also interviewed Dr. Miriam Adelson, the wife of billionaire Sheldon Adelson of Sands Corporation, and Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta of Station Casinos.
