Throughout his career, he has covered multiple major stories including Hurricane Irma in Florida and flown with Hurricane Hunters into Hurricane Dorian. It was a borderline Category 5 storm battering the Bahamas. He also chased tornadoes.
Apart from forecasting weather, he is passionate about telling compelling stories, making complex science easy to understand, and keeping people safe. During his leisure time, he likes cheering on the Florida Gators, playing his piano or bass guitar, as well as enjoys exercising.
