Since joining the station in June 2026, he has anchored the station’s 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. newscasts while also contributing to the investigative team franchise, “You Paid For It.” Before arriving at CBS 6, Bosco spent more than 18 years at WSYX-TV and WTTE-TV (ABC 6 and FOX 28) in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked as a weekend morning anchor/multimedia journalist (September 2007 to May 2026).
During his tenure, he became known for his reporting and coverage of major political developments, local government issues, and high-profile investigations. Notably, he covered a major Ohio Statehouse scandal and extensively reported on the sexual abuse of hundreds of student-athletes by former Ohio State athletic trainer Richard Strauss. His work on that story was later featured in the HBO documentary “Surviving Ohio State” and the documentary “The Dark Money Game.”
Additionally, while in Columbus, Bosco covered statewide politics from Ohio’s capital, reported on Ohio State University’s appearance in the 2018 Rose Bowl, and participated in major-event coverage for sister stations, including Hurricane Irma in Florida (2017) and the devastating Texas flooding in Kerrville (2025). Prior to his Columbus career, Bosco worked for WNWO-TV, the NBC affiliate in Toledo, Ohio, (1996 to 2007) as a reporter and anchor. His reporting there helped expose the sexual abuse scandal within the Toledo Catholic Diocese. The investigation later gained national attention and was featured in the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Twist of Faith.”
