She worked at KEYC News 12 as a multimedia journalist, fill-in anchor, and host of her original series, “Food Friday.” During her time at KEYC, she selected restaurants and eateries to feature every week. She was also a morning reporter from October 2017 to July 2019. She developed and maintained local sources, contributed ideas to daily meetings, and gathered information on breaking news. Before that, she worked at WJAR-TV, she worked as a multimedia journalist and weekend morning news anchor.
After graduating she worked as an intern for CBS Boston and toured South Africa as an ambassador for the college’s journalism department. Her second stop was Paducah, Kentucky, where she worked as a multimedia journalist and weekend morning news anchor. Adeleye has reported on animal abuse cases, the pandemic’s effect on healthcare workers, and possible budget cuts for a popular recreational area. She loves to eat, jam out to her favorite playlist, and volunteer whenever and wherever she can! Additionally, Adeleye is an Emmy Nominee.
She has also interned at Somerville Media Centre from June 2017 to August 2017, while there, she reported on current events in the community researched topics, and created angles for new stories. Before that, she worked at Good Morning Emerson as a lifestyle correspondent from February 2017 to May 2017. During her time there, she was the host of the lifestyle segment for Good Morning Emerson, She participated in live studio demos, Wrote Scripts for each segment, Assisted in pre-recording of segments, and collaborated with a producer on the format of each segment. During her free time, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, and enjoys the food of Cranston, Rhode Island restaurants.
