Love Is Blind revolves around 15 single ladies and guys who are actively looking for love and marriage. The single men and women have to communicate in the “pods” where they can not see each other but can only hear while on dates.
Their conversations and dates in the pods help them with making meaningful connections without having to see each other hence the “Love is Blind” name. The couples will get to see each other for the first time after they are engaged and ready to get married to each other. Later on, all the engaged couples head to a resort for a “couple retreat” for a week. In this retreat, the couple gets to know each other explore their physical; attraction, and be physically intimate.
Moreover, they also get to meet other engaged couples who participated in the show with them. After the retreat, the couple moves in together back home and lives together under one roof for three weeks while waiting for their wedding day. It is at this point that the couples get to meet each other’s families and friends and help the couple in planning for their wedding.
