She developed her love and passion at a young age. She knew she wanted to be a reporter when working as an intern, she got to see behind the scenes at murder trials, crime scenes, and a Tina Turner concert.
Prior to joining the KFOR News 4 News team, she worked at KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas. During her working time there, she served the station as a news reporter. In addition to that, she worked at KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas where she also served as a news reporter. She serves on the board of “The Peaceful Mission Ministry” and is also a member of Newchurch.
She enjoys writing the news as part of her job. Blume made her parents proud when she interviewed Billy Graham and did a special report on his visit. She also has a favorite story of all time, a story about a young boy in OKC who was dying of a brain tumor. They traveled with him as he got his dying wish to go home to Mexico to see family and be buried by his grandfather.
During her leisure time, she like hiking, kayaking, biking, enjoys Seafood, and watching movies. In addition to that, she enjoys listening to Latin music, reading books, and traveling around the world. She also loves somewhere scenic for a hike or bike ride.
