Prior to this, she served in Richmond, Virginia at the ABC affiliate as a weekend evening anchor and reporter. During her stint there, she provided coverage for the governor’s ‘blackface’ scandal, explosive riots following George Floyd’s murder, and lethal tornados.
Also, she has provided coverage for many Confederate statue removals counting General Robert E. Lee. Additionally, she anchored breaking news and weather broadcast counting an ice storm that caused a power outage and loss of heat for weeks. Before Richmond, she debuted her journalism career when she served in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Initially, she began by serving off-screen in production and editing and swiftly migrated to morning anchor. For four years, she served in Charlottesville and was on the ground throughout the fatal Unite the Right rally in 2017. The fatal clash over Confederate statues created state headlines. Moreover, she was front and center with continuous broadcast and field anchoring.
