She joined the station in October 2022 after previously working as an anchor and producer at KLTV 7 in Tyler (October 2019 to October 2022). Shadrix began her pursuit of higher education at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she pursued her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Shadrix serves as the 11 pm weeknight anchor and the 5 pm weekday anchor at WYFF News 4 in Greenville, SC. She joined the station in October 2022 and has since held several roles, including working as a Weekday morning anchor fill-in and as a primary fill-in for weeknight 6 pm and 11 pm newscasts.
Since joining the station, Shadrix has reported on a wide range of major events, including the Donald Trump rally in Charlotte, NC, the Poplar Drive fire that scorched nearly 450 acres in Henderson County, NC, and the funeral and tribute services for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter in Atlanta. Additionally, she covered the impact of Hurricane Helene across the Southeast, President Biden’s tour of hurricane damage, Donald Trump’s booking at Fulton County Jail, and co-anchoring the live “Paris 2024: Olympic Zone” special.
Before joining WYFF, Shadrix served as an anchor and producer at KLTV 7 in Tyler (October 2019 to October 2022). Here she had extensive coverage of major news events such as the COVID-19 pandemic in East Texas & its effects on the landscape of schools and classrooms across the state, and the February 2021 winter storm that knocked out power across Texas. Beyond the newsroom, Shadrix is an active member of the community where she emcees for local school district events and nonprofit organizations, leads the Walk to End Alzheimer’s WYFF4 Team, and is the campaign manager of the WYFF4 WeCare campaign & WYFF4 Year 4 Giving: Feed it Forward campaign.
