Sue Serio is an American Meteorologist/Anchor/Weather Anchor currently working for the FOX 29 News team since 1997 for “Good Day Philadelphia.” Prior to Fox 29, Serio worked as a co-anchor for WAKE-UP. This is a top-rated morning show on CBS affiliate WIVB-TV, in Buffalo, N.Y. In addition, she also co-anchored the station’s “News at Noon.”

She is an award-winning journalist and a five-time Emmy Awards nominee from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Sue is proud to have been honored by the Academy in November 1994. In addition, she received the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award for weathercaster.
Currently, she is very active in the community where she volunteers for events such as Tyler Arboretum, Media Theatre, and SPCA, among others. In addition, she is a co-chair of the local Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. Additionally, she has served as a member of the Board of the Camden Children’s Garden and is on the Advisory Board of the Main Line Animal Rescue. Away from work, she enjoys going to the movies, walking Rufus, their family dog, sleeping, and knitting among other needlework.
