Prior to working at WMAR-TV, she worked at WIVB/WNLO-TV where she served as a meteorologist from March 2019 to June 2020. She previously worked at WTM-TV based in Elmira, New York where she served as the morning meteorologist from June 2017 to March 2019.
Since she started her journalism career, she has covered a ton of extreme weather events including flooding along the Lake Erie shoreline, lake effect snow events, and severe thunderstorms. She has also won a couple of awards and honors including Best Weathercast (2018) from the New York State Broadcasters Association. Moreover, March 1, 2019, was proclaimed as Steve Daniels Day by The Mayor of Elmira, New York.
